Cornbread
Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup neutral oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425ºF. Coat skillet with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, whisk wet ingredients.
- Stir wet into dry, mix until just combined. Don't over mix.
- Pour into prepared skillet and bake for 20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
