Immersion Iced Coffee

75g/L ratio.
2/3 of the water should be hot, 1/3 is ice.

For our mugs use 37.5g of coffee, 330g of hot water, and 170g of ice.

  1. Chill mug
  2. Grind coffee finer than a pour over
  3. Add coffee and water to the brewer (French press) and stir
  4. Steep (~5 minutes)
  5. Add ice to chilled mug
  6. Strain the brewed coffee directly over the ice
  7. Stir

Notes: In the French press this produces a pretty bitter cup with a lot of fines. Could try paper filtering afterwards.
